He is associated with both wisdom, war, battle, death, and magic (he saw the runes in a vision), poetry, prophecy, victory, etc..

I have been haunted by the thought of creating a portrait of Odin for years now, and finally yesterday, I fell over a specific photoseries by =skiesofchaos who's stock I have been wanting to use for ages now..

So here is the result; Odin in his hall, Preparing to go on another trip to Midgaard - disguised as the mysterious wanderer he is also known as.

But first he must hear the latest news of the world, from 2 of his other ears and eyes - Hugin and Munin!
